Life can be challenging, and there are times when we all need space to pause, reflect, and heal.

Improving your relationships
My journey into psychotherapy was deeply personal, shaped by a profound and life altering loss that taught me the importance of connection, healing, and resilience. After the loss of my dearest friend, I found myself navigating deep grief and searching for meaning. The challenges I experienced have since highlighted how vital it is to have someone to lean on during difficult times. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to creating a safe space where others feel seen, heard, and supported. I hope to honour her memory as I continue this journey, carrying her love and presence with me along the way.
The name Ren Therapy holds a special meaning for me. In Chinese philosophy, ren represents humanity, compassion, and inter-connectedness, values at the heart of my practice.
At its core, ren is about being in harmony with yourself and others. For me, it aligns beautifully with the essence of therapy, which is about healing self-growth and fostering meaningful relationships with both ourselves and those around us.
By choosing Ren Therapy, you’re choosing a space that values compassion, authenticity, and human connection.
I believe that every individual has the inner capacity to overcome life’s challenges and grow into their full potential. As Carl Rogers beautifully said:
When I look at an acorn, I see an oak tree. It holds all the potential within itself to grow into something strong and enduring.
Whatever you may be going through, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can explore ways to help you feel more empowered, resilient, and hopeful about the future.
Counselling offers a non-judgmental, compassionate space where you can speak openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Everything you share is treated with respect and confidentiality.
Our first session is an opportunity to explore why you’ve decided to seek counselling and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll talk about your current challenges, personal history, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable.
Counselling is not about being given advice or a set of instructions, it’s a collaborative process. I’ll work with you to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you gain deeper insight and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Therapy is a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges with a trained professional. It can help you gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and work through personal struggles, leading to greater well-being and resilience.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling with emotions, relationships, or self-worth, therapy may be beneficial. It’s also a space for personal growth, so you don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. If you’re unsure, I offer a consultation to help you decide.

I offer both online and in-person sessions to suit your needs. If you’re unsure which is best for you, we can discuss the options.
